Weddington Media LLC is a Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising agency serving local service businesses. By contacting us or using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information we collect
We collect the following information directly from you when you submit a Facebook or Instagram lead form, contact us, become a client, or communicate with us:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- Your business name and business contact information, if you are a client
- Your responses to questions on our lead forms
- The content of text-message conversations you have with us
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and questions
- Qualify leads and determine whether our services are a fit for your business
- Schedule calls and appointments with you
- Notify our clients when a new lead is generated from campaigns we manage for them
- Provide and improve our advertising services
SMS text messaging
Weddington Media operates two separate text-messaging programs, and you may opt in to either one independently.
Prospect Inquiry Program. When you submit one of our Meta (Facebook or Instagram) lead forms, you may opt in to receive text messages from us. An assistant will text you to qualify your inquiry and help schedule a call. Consent is optional and is collected through a checkbox that is not pre-selected. Client Lead Alert Program. If you are a contracted client, you may opt in on your signed service agreement to receive automated text alerts when a new lead is generated from the advertising campaigns we manage for your business. Each alert contains the lead’s name and contact information. Consent is optional and is not required to receive services. Full details are in our Client Lead Alert Terms.
For both programs, message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or reply HELP for assistance. Opting out of one program does not affect the other.
Information collected when you opt in to text messages, including your phone number, is not shared with, or sold to, any third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
Lead information we process for clients
When a prospective customer submits a lead form through an advertising campaign we manage for a client, we process that person’s contact information for the sole purpose of delivering it to the client who paid for the campaign. We do not sell this information, and we do not use it for our own marketing. The client is responsible for how it contacts and handles the leads it receives.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share information collected through our text-messaging programs with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. We may share information only with service providers who help us operate our business (for example, scheduling and messaging tools), and only as necessary for them to perform services on our behalf, or where required by law.
Data retention
We retain your information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, provide our services, and meet our legal and business obligations. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete or securely dispose of it.
How to request deletion of your information
You may request that we delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. To make a request, email us at tomoki@weddingtonmedia.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.” We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are required to retain certain information by law.
